Read all about it!

It’s Saturday morning and that can only mean one thing – yep, it’s time for another of our Weekly News Roundups, where we bring you all the news from the last week and pop into one handy article. And by some massive coincidence, here it is:

Assassins’ Creed Odyssey will get a New Game Plus mode this month

A tweet from the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account has confirmed that a New Game Plus mode will be added to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey sometime this month.

While no details have been confirmed, it’s probably safe to assume that you’ll be able to carry over your player level, gear and abilites into a new game. We won’t have to keep guessing for long though – in a tweet replying to a fan, the Assassin’s Creed said that they’ll “share more details next week.”

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice trailer shows the protagonist’s origins

From Software has released a new story trailer for their upcoming action adventure, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

In the trailer, which you can watch above, we see the origins of the player character as he is taken in by his mentor following a bloody and brutal battle. Called only ‘Stray’ and ‘Starving Wolf’ it’s hardly a warm encounter for our protagonist. The trailer then flashes forward to the present and we hear the same mentor, (possibly) lamenting over what you have become.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is set for release next month on March 22.

Monster Hunter: World’s Geralt collaboration is now live

A collaboration between Monster Hunter: World and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now underway on consoles and will see you playing the part of the infamous Geralt of Rivia.

A new questline is available to players with a Hunter Rank of 16 or above and starring Geralt, voiced by the original actor. ‘Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest’ will see you fighting the powerful Leshen as well as making various dialogue choices that will influence the quest’s storyline.

‘Contract: Woodland Spirit’ will also be available as a limited time event and is available to players with at Hunter Rank 50 or above. This multiplayer event will see you fighting tougher-than-normal Leshen in a real test of your hunter skills.

The rewards for each are more than worth it though; ‘Contract: Trouble in the Ancient Forest’ will reward you with the crafting materials needed to make your own Geralt armour and weapon set, as well as a number of other items, such as emotes and a skin for your Palico companion. Completing the ‘Contract: Woodland Spirit’ will reward you with the resources needed to craft Ciri’s weapon and armour set.

The collaboration event is part of a free title update and is available to download now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
