Anything Lara can do, Claire can do better.
If you ever thought that games like Tomb Raider or Uncharted are a bit unrealistic what with their portrayal of characters that can run and hang on to walls with their fingertips, then The Making of a Tomb Raider is looking to straighten out your world view. Because after its run as an in-cinema exclusive, The Making of a Tomb Raider is now available for everyone to watch on YouTube.
The film follows Base jumper and mountain biker Claire Marie as she recreates all the stunts that Lara manages to pull of during the Rise of the Tomb Raiser and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Clocking in at just under an hour long, Making of a Tomb Raider explains how each stunt will be pulled off and has Claire speaking about what she’ll need to do before she – can you guess? – before she does it.
It’s a pretty cool idea that manages to expand the Tomb Raider series that little bit more, and it’s just enough reason for all of us to dig out our copies of Tomb Raider and play them all over again.
