Secrets and anecdotes from the development of the Final Fantasy games.
Square Enix has nicely revealed the first in a new series of featurettes on the making of the Final Fantasy series of games. Kicking-off with Final Fantasy IX, the video takes viewers on a deep dive into the legacy of the series bringing together interviews with a variety of original creators, artists and developers.
Featuring interviews with Shinji Hashimoto (Producer), Toshiyuki Itahana (Artist), Kazuhiko Aoki (Event Designer), and Nobuaki Komoto (Event Planner) we get a glimpse into the development and passion that went into creating one of the classics from the Final Fantasy series.
Final Fantasy IX tells the story of Princess Garnet, the heir of Alexandria, and her adventures after escaping from her castle to go see the world outside of her kingdom. Aided by Zidane and the Tantalus Theater Troupe, she experiences what life is like in a way that only Final Fantasy games stories do.
If watching this brings back nostalgia, or you want to try Final Fantasy IX for the first time, the game is available on all formats in its HD remastered incarnation.
