Also, bug fixes and all that malarkey.

The latest Insurgency title, Sandstorm, has a supply drop full of new features coming soon. Along with a new map called Compound, Sandstorm players will also be getting new weapons, new game modes, and cosmetic options to help make your soldier the most stylish one in service.

Set in an abandoned construction site, Compound looks like it’s set to offer up a far more intimate battleground for you to murder people in. There are also two new anti-material guns arriving to Sandstorm in the M82 and M99. And if that wasn’t enough, developer New World has also teased a new game mode, described as a more “hardcore” version of Checkpoint – though that’s all we know about it for now.

Along with the new gameplay features, New World has spent a large part of post-launch development ironing out the various bug fixes and framerate issues in the game. The developer has said that there’s still a fair bit of work to do but the month-long dedication to bug fixes seems to have made life a little easier for players.
