The Plague Tale: Innocence studio is working on a new project.
As the release date for A Plague Tale: Innocence draws closer, Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio have announced that they’ll be working together again on another – so far unannounced – project.
David Dedeine, CCO and Co-founder of Asobo Studio, the French developers responsible for titles such as The Crew, Quantum Break and Recore, spoke of his excitement to work with Focus again. “During our first collaboration on A Plague Tale: Innocence, we forged a strong relationship with Focus Home Interactive, based on shared values of commitment, and a perpetual search for quality and originality. Today, we’re excited to continue this pioneering partnership with Focus on our new creation, which will take players out on a journey to a land of adventure,” said Dedeine in a press release.
While we have no further information on the new title, we can look forward to A Plague Tale: Innocence, the product of the studios’ previous collaboration, which is set for release next month.
A Plague Tale: Innocence follows a brother and sister as they try to survive the onset of the Hundred Years War and the Black Death. John got to play through the first three chapters and you can see what he made of it in his preview here.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14.
