Paradox Interactive has announced that a new story pack, Ancient Relics, is heading to PC for its space strategy game, Stellaris.

The new story pack will add two new Precursors, forgotten Relic Worlds, Minor Artifacts – a new resource type, along with a number of archaeological sites to discover. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

The Ancient Relics story pack will reward your empire with ‘significant benefits’ as you uncover archaeological sites or overcome crises to uncover their secrets. You’ll get the chance to uncover the Baol and the Zroni Precursor civilizations and visit their home planets to find out what caused their downfall. Relic Worlds are also waiting to be discovered and could give your empire big benefits with the research of powerful relics and artifacts.

Stellaris was first released back in 2016 on PC and saw the grand strategy game break all records for Paradox, selling more than 200,000 copies on the first day and 68,000 players online simultaneously. More recently, February saw the release of Stellaris: Console Edition, making the game available to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players.

There’s no release date for Ancient Relics just yet and the announcement doesn’t make mention of a console version. We’ll be sure to update you as soon as we learn more.
