What are you playing?
Each week we’ll give you the low-down on the games that have been keeping the GGS Gamer staff busy on their consoles, PCs and handhelds.
Here’s what we’re playing this week …
Jay
- Puyo Puyo Champions (PS4): I reviewed this game and have always been a fan of Puyo Puyo back on the Mega Drive but it was called Dr Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine and I thought I was incredible… then I played Japanese players and got put in my place…
- My Hero One’s Justice (PS4): I’ve been wanting to play this for ages as I’m a huge fan of the manga/anime! So, I caved and bought it to fill in my time whilst I wait for the upcoming FFXIV expansion, Shadowbringers.
Dan
- Grand Theft Auto V (PS3): Of course, I have a backlog, but opted to replay GTA V instead. Never played it on PS3 so good reason to replay it.
- Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS): Yeah that final boss is a bitch. I can plow through all the re-fights, but the Babel true form is hell.
John
- A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS4): I said this game is the next modern classic and I stand by that claim. Great characters, astounding design, and loads of bloody rats, nice.
- Grip Combat Racing (XB1): I’ve been playing through the Air Blades DLC and should have a review up pretty soon so keep an eye out if you want to hear more about Grip.
Sarah
- Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age (XB1): Yep, I went and bought it – I thought I’d weather some bad brain days by hiding in Ivalice, like any sensible adult.
