We’re all gears.
New leaks surrounding the new Gears of War 5 have surfaced after what appears to be marketing material for the game was posted on Resetera. The leaks claim that the new Gears title will feature the “biggest, most beautiful Gears world†so far.
The latest leaks follow the premature release of the Gears of War 5 box art a few weeks ago, which had Gear of War 4’s companion Kait being pushed as the focal point of the game, along with its September release date. The new details, which were posted on Resera, include the following material that’s thought to be part of the marketing material for Gears of War 5, it reads:
“The world is crumbling. Humanity’s reliance on technology has become their downfall and enemies are uniting to wipe out all survivors. As Kait you must journey across the biggest, most beautiful Gears world to uncover the origins of the Locust, and fight with your squad to protect what’s left.”
Along with the blurb, there was also confirmation that local and online co-op would return for the game, as qould PvP multiplayer and the Gears of War Horde mode.
Gears of War 5 is expected to play a pretty major role during Microsoft’s E3 show in June so the recent leaks won’t have gone down too well.
