What-We’re-Playing-Wednesday (May 29, 2019)

What are you playing?

Each week weâ€™ll give you the low-down on the games that have been keeping the GGS Gamer staff busy on their consoles, PCs and handhelds.

Here’s what we’re playing this week …

God of War (PS4): It’s been too long since I last played this so I’m happily making my way through the story again.
The Last of Us Remastered (PS4): Playing God of War made we want to replay TLOU so it’s become a weird juggling act between the two.
Life is Strange 2 (XB1): Right, I didn’t think I’d like the road-tripping brothers that much but I’m really enjoying the game. Daniel is a massive dickhead and Captain Spirit might be the most depressing thing ever but I’m seeing it through to the end.

Ninja Gaiden 2 (XB1): Completely forgot how hard this game or I’m getting old.
Layers of Fear 2 (XB1): Never played the first one, but always done for a horror game. It’s doing a great job thus far.Â

Final Fantasy XIV (PS4): Blah, blah, waiting for Shadowbringers, blah, hype!

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 (XB1X): Still playing this awesome loot shooter. I have a really nice build that’s working at the moment and also trying to get a group of regular peeps for the raid.
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls (PC): I’ve been playing Season 17 trying to grind out a LoN Thorns gear set for my Necro. The RNG gods, however, seem to have determined that I cannot have any Ancient pieces.

inFAMOUS Second Son (PS4): I don’t know why I’m subjecting myself to this, but I was doing a full replay and this is the unfortunate conclusion. Joss Whedon-esque dialogue and a rushed story with characters who are nothing but stereotypesâ€¦ and to make it worse, this was the game I bought a PS4 for.

Diablo: Reaper of Souls (PC): I’ve got everything I need for my wizard’s Firebird build, right down to my Templar’s gear. Now I just need to farm for those elusive Primal/Ancient pieces so I can push higher Greater Rifts.
World of Warcraft (PC): Feeling a bit lost in WoW at the moment. I’ve always played Horde but since levelling a few characters on the Alliance side, I’m finding I much prefer their races and cities. I want to find a new guild so I’m going to need to make a decision soon.
