Balance updates and fixes have also been implemented.

The first free update has dropped for Saber Interactive’s co-op shooter, World War Z and adds a new mission as well as various fixes and balance updates.

The new mission will see players heading to Tokyo to take on enemies aboard an undead-infested ferry. A new type of poison-spitting zombie will also be encountered on all levels and players will need to be wary as it will continue to wreak havoc if it’s not ‘dispatched appropriately.’

Additionally, private lobbies have been added with the update, along with the ability to disable bots within them and you’ll now be able to switch between classes during a PvP game. An FoV slider has also been added, as well as a UI which allows you to see the highest difficulty that a level has been completed on. You can check out the full – and fairly lengthy – patch notes here.

World War Z is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
