CD PROJEKT RED have invited their fan community to take part in the official Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay Contest. They’re being asked to create the
most authentic cosplay of an existing Cyberpunk 2077 character, using any source material from CD PROJEKT RED-released trailers, gameplay videos, screenshots and art for the game, or the character guides, which are due to release soon.
If you want to give it a shot, you can submit your entry here, or take part in one of the offline qualifiers. Rules for the competition can also be found on the same link. These will be held around the world at various major gaming shows throughout the year:
- gamescom (Cologne, Germany), August 21 – 24, 2019
- PAX West (Seattle, USA), August 30 – September 2, 2019
- Tokyo Game Show (Tokyo, Japan), September 12 – 15, 2019
- Igromir (Moscow, Russia), October 3 – 6, 2019
- Paris Games Week (Paris, France), October 30 – November 3, 2019
A total of ten contestants – five online qualifier finalists and the five winners of the offline qualifiers, will meet in a grand finale set to take place live and on stage, where they’ll compete for the lion’s share of the $40,000 prize pool, as well as a chance to appear on the cover of a premier entertainment industry magazine, among other prizes which have yet to be announced. The exact date and location of the event will be revealed early next year.
