Weapons at the ready! It’s almost time for a chance to try out the latest Monster Hunter World expansion – Iceborne!

With Gamescom over for this year, we were left with an epic trailer for the soon-to-be-released DLC expansion “Iceborne”. You can check out the Gamescom trailer below for that absolute belter, but even better than that juicy announcement is the Iceborne Beta weekend news, along with the respective dates for PS4 and Xbox One players (Nothing for PC players – sorry).

The beta sessions for PlayStation 4 will be available for all PS4 users from 8:00 AM on Friday, August 30 through 7:59 AM on Monday, September 2. Following that, a beta for Xbox One will be available from 8:00 AM on Monday, September 2 through 7:59 AM on Thursday, September 5.

You will be able to preload the beta client on your consoles a couple of days before the beta weekend, so keep an eye out for that. Also, the Monster Hunter: World base game is not required to participate in the Iceborne beta sessions.

The upcoming Iceborne expansion will be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One globally on September 6 2019, with a PC release to follow in January 2020.
