Developer Nimble has announced their plans to release Earthfall: Alien Horde, a revitalization of the hit FPS Earthfall, for the Nintendo Switch. Earthfall first released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game will be available on October 11th digitally on the eShop.

Earthfall: Alien Horde improves upon Earthfall by adding drop in-drop out online and all-new local wireless 4-player co-op exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.

Players will be able to get through the game’s campaign which includes 11 chapters across 15 different locations and features a bevvy of unlockable goodies.

Here’s what Nimble’s Russell Williams had to say about bringing Earthfall to the Switch:

“Bringing Earthfall: Alien Horde to the Nintendo Switch made perfect sense to us. The ability to play with your friends anywhere – online or with local wireless play – is really going to be a fun and unique feature that works extremely well with our 4-player co-operative FPS. Switch is a great console and Earthfall: Alien Horde is great on Switch. We hope everyone has fun taking on the apocalyptic horde of aliens and their overlords.”
