It’s been a busy couple of days for the Final Fantasy VII Remake! Yesterday, we received a bunch of screenshots showing off Mercenary quests, Battle Reports as well as renders of Red XIII and Hojo all which can be viewed in the gallery below.

But today, Square Enix unveiled the opening cinematic for Final Fantasy VII Remake which extends itself from the original as this time we get a deeper look at life in Midgar before the iconic scene of Aerith in front of the leaking Mako energy.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a one year timed exclusive on PlayStation 4 and will release on April 10th 2020.
