New end-game progression update arrives alongside some seasonal event action with the Revenge of the Cartels.

Live now in Borderlands 3 is the new update to the end game progression system, adding some extra depth and content the game once you have completed the campaign. Mayhem 2.0 adds a bunch (25) of new game-changing modifiers to spice up your vault-hunting life; from adventuring with a massive head to having a drone companion. You can now also change the difficulty rating on-the-fly, but the lower the difficulty the lesser the reward.

Also included in the update is the Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event which runs until June 4. Featuring a brand-new area and new types of enemies. You’re on the quest to save your pal (Maurice) from Joey Ultraviolet, the kingpin of the Eridium Cartel, however, there is an issue that his hideout is hidden. To find the Villa Ultraviolet hidden in it’s tropical paradise you must kill and collect co-ordinates from roaming groups of neon baddies. Check out the new trailer for a glimpse of what’s in store.

Borderlands 3 is already available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and Epic.
