Sand Castle Studios announced a unique football game for Nintendo Switch and PC which will release later this year. Titled Alpaca Ball, players playing soccer (or football) as Alpacas.

Alpaca Ball is a physics-based party game featuring a single-player campaign mode and multiplayer with up to 8 players.

Players will also be able to build custom matches with bot alpacas and customize their alpaca players.

Gregor Kirchhofer Produce at Salt Castle Studio said:

“We really like football as a game and wondered how the old established formula could be spiced up? We figured it would be extremely hard to expand the rules of a game that is hundreds of years old and loved by millions […] But then we remembered that Alpacas make everything better, so here we are.”
