Uther gets justice in the Shadowlands animated short.
I’m a World of Warcraft player and it’s certainly no secret that I would sell my firstborn for some new content in World of Warcraft right now. So tonight, when Blizzard broadcast the world premiere for the Bastion Covenants animated short at Gamescom it was a much welcome treat to be given the Shadowlands Expansion release date once the short had finished. The new World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion will release on October 27, 2020.
I’m also a Paladin main and Uther is obviously a fan favourite, so getting to see what happened to him after his demise at the hands of his student Prince Arthas and the dreaded blade Frostmourne felt like someone was cutting onions in the room. Seeing how he is unable to ascend to almost angel status brings into question the emotional forces holding Uther back. It turns out that Uther’s soul has been damaged by a strike from Shadowmourne a sword empowered by magical runes whose power emanates from the Maw in the Shadowlands.
