Granzella has announced that R-Type Final 2 will be available sometime next Spring for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X. A sequel 17 as its predecessor debuted way back in 2003 in Japan exclusively for PS2. The game was also made available in 2004 for North America and Europe.
The R-Type series is a hectic, well-known side-scroller series and this upcoming entry features explosive action of the original games with modernized visuals and gameplay features.
