After hanging up her rifle for over seven years, one of Overwatch’s founding members is returning. Introducing Ana, a veteran who supports her teammates from afar with her highly specialised equipment.
Ana’s primary weapon is her Biotic Rifle, which fires long-range darts that can restore the health of her allies or deal ongoing damage to her enemies. Her abilities include Biotic Grenade which simultaneously heals teammates and injures foes caught in the area of effect. And if things get out of hand Ana’s sidearm can fire a sleep dart which knocks enemies unconscious; perfect to stop that High Noon multi-kill.
Ana’s ultimate ability, Nano Boost, transforms teammates into super soldiers, granting faster movement, increased damage, and resistance to enemy attacks
Ana is playable in the Overwatch Public Test Servers on PC from today, with more details to follow soon. No word on when she will be making her debut on console yet though.
