Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the Yoshimitsu will join the star-studded Soul Calibur VI cast. Yoshimitsu, originally a Tekken character, is known for his unique style of swordsmanship and combat. Like many other Soul Calibur characters, his backstory is a tragic one. According to in-game lore, he is the sole survivor of his clan.
“The Manji clan’s village was located at the bottom of the Holy Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, the clan was destroyed by the ire of a powerful warlord. As the lone survivor, Yoshimitsu, dedicated his life to his clan’s martial arts. With his excellent swordsmanship, he was the greatest swordsmen of his time!”
