Rising Star Games released their rhythm game, SuperBeat: Xonic, on the PSN store exclusively for the PS Vita. Music fans can download this game for £34.99. Those who prefer a physical copy will have to wait until November 20th before picking up the boxed version at retail. Or you can also pre-order the limited edition on Rising Star Games’ website.
SuperBeat: Xonic is a revolution in rhythm action gaming from Nurijoy and PM Studios’ – the creators of the much-celebrated Beatcraft series. Use your carefully honed skills to tap along to an impressive library packed with over 50 tracks spanning a wide array of genre such as soulful house, R’n’B, indie pop, big beat to progressive metal. The soundtrack also features music from ARC System Works’ BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, and Magical Beat.
The game features 3 difficulty modes: 4TRAX, 6TRAX, and 6TRAX FX. Each becoming increasingly more difficult and complicated as you progress. From the game’s settings, you can choose difficulty levels (Hard, Normal, and Easy) within these modes, so if you feel you’re up for it, you can crank it to the max right out of the game.
SuperBeat: Xonic is also PS TV compatible meaning you can tackle the rhythm action challenges on the big screen. Local and worldwide leaderboards let you pit your talents against your friends and players around the globe.
