So I was lucky enough to be able to attend London’s biggest comic con (with a fancy press badge this time!) and as always, moseyed on over to the Square Enix meet after a long, long day of demos and shopping. There were some beautiful cosplays there, and they deserve to be shown off! So here are some of the best and brightest of the cosplay world!

First up, Kat Barnes as Lunafreya Nox Fleuret (Final Fantasy XV). Fantastic job with the plaits, there.
Samantha McLean as Steve Burnside (Resident Evil Code Veronica). As always, the wig looks natural, and I’m jealous.
Natalie Williams, Kat Barnes, and Sophie Rashad as Prompto Argentum, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, and Noctis Lucis Caelum (Final Fantasy XV). I’m so thrilled to see the big turnout for FFXV cosplayers; everyone’s been waiting such a long time, and they’re all suitably hyped and ready.
Ann Kristin Hellum making a truly beautiful Yuna (Final Fantasy X), all the way from Norway! That’s some crazy dedication for just one weekend.
Anthony Jarvis as Red XIII (Final Fantasy VII; loving that tail in the background!) and Gemma Wilson as Lulu (Final Fantasy X).
 
Rhiannon Batsford as Shotgun (Final Fantasy VII: Beyond Crisis) and possibly winning the “Most Obscure Cosplay,” award.
Truly, some of the most adorable photos of the night were Sofia and Aimee, dressed as Tama (World of Final Fantasy) and a Fat Chocobo (Final Fantasy III). These two definitely stole the show as the cutest cosplayers of the night.
Ann Kristin Hellum once more as Yuna, Victoria Poulter as Lightning in her… interesting Moogle outfit (Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII), and an unknown Zidane (Final Fantasy IX). If you’re reading this, mysterious cosplayer, please drop me a line so I can credit you for your fantastic outfit!
I think the most fantastic thing about this was that the Mog Clock actually worked!
Next up, Sen as Lightning (Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII), and George Henderson as Snow Villiers (Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII), with some crazy amount of detail in their outfits. I don’t want to know how long they took to make…

And that’s a wrap! Truth be told, if I’d been there all weekend, I probably would have a much longer post for you, but it’s overflowing with talent already. Maybe next time we can have the super mega ultra cosplay round up – all XV cosplayers, natch? ;)
