We know that Mantis Burn Racing is coming to Nintendo Switch at some point and today, VooFoo Studios have confirmed that the game will boast a ‘consistently smooth 60fps’ in both TV and Handheld mode.

The studio has also confirmed that three and four player local split screen will be capped at 30fps while the two player split screen will run at a ‘variable 30-60fps’.

“We’ve been spending a lot of time getting to grips with the capabilities of the Switch – we’ve learnt a lot by digging deeper into the hardware” said Mark Williams, Technology Director at VooFoo Studios. “The Switch’s performance analysis tools have allowed us to understand where frame rate improvements could be made.”

In addition, the game will support Cross-Play, enabling you to play online with those friends that are on Xbox One and Steam.

Mantis Burn Racing is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. The Nintendo Switch release date has not yet been confirmed.
