After accidentally missing last week’s One Hour Tour (yep, life got crazy), I’m back this week with a new video. This time, I’m stumbling around the Prey demo.
At first, I didn’t want to bother with it; while videos looked pretty badass, I wasn’t too sure about it. It was definitely not on my “Watch list” and the demo didn’t change my mind. I find the premise set at the beginning pretty interesting so I’d assume the further I got, the more hooked I got.
Additionally, the more I watched videos and looked at screenshots, seems like the final product might not be up to par. While yes I can realize that this was just a demo, here’s to hoping that the final product will live up to what we’ve seen thus far. With games like Call of Duty or Uncharted who blur the lines between gameplay and cinematics, Arkane Studios better get their shit in order.
Nevertheless, hope you’ll enjoy! Prey releases this Friday, May 5th, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
